In December 2009, Batten Purchased WCHM-AM in Clarkesville, Georgia. On June 20, 2011, WCHM signed on at 96.7FM and moved to 94.3FM on January 22, 2020. WCHM serves Habersham County and the North Georgia foothills.

     In April 2012, Batten purchased WJUL AM and FM in Hiawassee, Georgia which broadcasts on 97.7FM and 1230AM. 

     On December 1, 2012, Batten purchased WACF-FM 95.1 and changed the call letters to WJRB. NewsTalk 95.1 programs a talk format to the five-county North Georgia mountain region: Towns, Union, Fannin, Clay (NC) and Cherokee (NC).

     On March 7, 2014, Batten purchased WIMO-AM 1300, later acquired 107.1FM, and changed the call letters to WJBB. WJBB broadcasts an oldies music format to Barrow,

Jackson, Gwinnett and Walton Counties 25 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
